Hello dear ones, my name is Jasmin and I am the 'one woman show' behind Aroha Jewelz. A long time ago, I dared to follow my heart and started my own business for lovingly handmade jewelry, which I have been running since 2010.

Over the years I've played around with many different materials and techniques, but have always come back to modeling with polymer clay - a material I've had loads of fun with ever since I was a kid. It's what my hands love doing the most.

I've always had a passion for crystals and gemstones, and I love hand-picking every single one, creating settings and sculpting little worlds for them.

So far I've led quite an adventurous life, moving from market to market to offer my art, traveling around a lot and getting to meet a wide variety of colorful cultures and wonderful people. One of these places particularly impressed and kept calling me, so I emigrated to New Zealand in 2019. I feel very connected to the nature and culture of Aotearoa {Maori for New Zealand - the land of the long white cloud}, and found a lot of inspiration for my work there.

 

I am incredibly grateful for these intense experiences, for the connections, the highs, lows and all the many things I've learned through this - I wouldn't trade them for the world. It's the essence of these times you can find in my jewelry.

Now I have followed my heart again and returned to my home in Germany. I have thought a lot about what really counts in life - and for me that is the people I spend it with. I am very happy now to be close to my family and dearest friends. I love spending as much time as I can with them, creating beautiful things for you, gardening, dancing, learning - and trying to make the world a little bit better by giving back to the community.
